College dudes

What started on Thursday night came to a crashing halt on Sunday morning when police finally arrived. At around 1:00 a.m. on Sunday morning, Boston police arrested 41 people. Many of those tried to flee the scene of the crime. The two guys renting out the home were both arrested.

From the Daily Mail:

Renter Andrew Juckett, 21, who appears to be a student of Bridgewater State University, Massachusetts, and housemate Juan Perez, also 21, were among those detained by police.

Officers said they were called to the property at 1am on Sunday to reports of a disturbance at a property in Bridgewater, before discovering the massive house party.

Once inside, police said they discovered a large amount of alcohol, several drinkers who were obviously under the age of 21, and a large amount of road signs.

Just your ho-hum, run-of-the-mill, college party. Nothing to see here. Just a bunch of college kids getting drunk, stealing road signs, smashing furniture and glass. You know, the usual things you expect to find after a good party. But we aren’t just talking about a party, we’re talking about a three-day rager. That’s 50+ hours of boozin, sex, drugs, and furniture demolition.

In fact, the damage done to the house was so bad that fire and safety inspectors deemed the house unsafe to live in. Juckett and Perez were evicted and also face charges of keeping a disorderly house.
