We received the following email today about a damn fine American soldier and college football player.
Whats up guys?
My name is [name redacted] and I play football for Dartmouth College. Last winter a 31-year-old ex-Army Ranger joined our team and has been working out and practicing with us ever since. The guy is cool as fuck and a couple of weeks ago he finally got a chance to play when we were killing Columbia in the fourth quarter. Attached is a video of what he did with his first collegiate handoff. It being Veterans day and all, I thought this seemed pretty appropriate.
It is very appropriate. It always is, actually, Veterans Day or not.
Kevin Price is his name, and he served six — yes, six — three-month deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan as an Army Ranger. He’s also a husband and father of two. On October 26, while his Dartmouth Big Green held a comfortable lead over Columbia, Price’s already impressive list of achievements grew by one more. He saw his first live game action. And as you’d expect, he made the most of it.

On top of all that, the man is “cool as fuck,” per our emailer. What an awesome moment. Happy Veterans Day.
