A Fraternity Guy’s Stereotypical Venmo Feed

Stop Staring At Your Cell Phone And Look Up

Venmo is when paying your friends meets social media. If you’re not familiar with the app, it links to a user’s Facebook page and allows them to charge friends for outstanding debts, which then appear on a timeline. It’s a moocher’s worst nightmare. Every lamp you break or wall you punch is a public affair, and every standard payment, like rent or utilities, is charged as the most absurd sexual thing your friends can think of. Sometimes it’s hard to tell a real charge from a gag charge.

All the kids are using it these days, but the Venmo of a fraternity man is more debauched than most. Yours probably looks something like this.
