From the North-American Interfraternity Conference:

The North-American Interfraternity Conference (NIC) is proud to report on academic achievement among fraternity men and fraternity communities across the United States. Out of 227 campuses reporting data to the NIC for the 2013-13 academic year, 117 fraternity communities report All-Fraternity Average GPAs that exceed their campus’s All-Male Average GPA.

117 out of 227 — that comes in at a 51.5% clip, a pretty respectable number considering all the different distractions a fraternity member is faced with once he leaves the lecture hall. Score one more for the Greeks, bringing the current Greeks vs. GDI tally to “We stopped keeping score a long time ago.”

Roger Dorn (@RogerJDorn) is the Vice President of Media for Grandex, Inc. He's a native Texan with a full head of hair and knows his way around a nice box of red wine. Dorn graduated (BBA) with a GPA sitting in the meaty part of the bell curve, not lagging behind, but not trying to show off, either. Golf is his game now. He's long off the tee but can't putt for shit. Email: dillon@grandex.co
