Ball State football is having a rough go of it this season. Not only are the Cardinals 1-5 after dropping a heartbreaker to the powerhouse that is Western Michigan, but players have now taken their shit smearing ways off the field and into the community.
Defensive back Darius Conaway, defensive lineman Kennan Noel, and linebacker Nicholas Isaacs were involved in an incident on Sunday at Brothers Bar & Grill that revolved around a shit-covered two dollar bill.
Conaway, Noel, Isaacs, and three other friends apparently did not find the service at Brothers adequate to their standard of 1-5 excellence.
From Ball State Daily:
The suspect, a 17 year old, left their table, which was also occupied by the three Ball State football players, and went into the bathroom after their waitress gave him his bill, according to the police report. After returning to the table he put the money into the black folder, according to police who sourced a security video of the event.
The group’s waitress told police she saw the suspect laughing when she picked up the check and smelled a “foul odor.” She said two of the bills were covered in a brown substance that she later realized was fecal matter.
First off, let’s not overlook the fact that homeboy is carrying around $2 bills like it ain’t no thing. Also with this whole Ebola scare, bringing feces to the party could not be more ill-timed.
The kid was charged with battery with bodily waste–yes, it’s a thing–and taken to Delaware County Juvenile Probation Center.
Ball State is investigating the matter further before taking action, not that it matters, as this whole incident perfectly describes the Cardinals season in a poo-covered nutshell. .
