Apparently students at Tulane beheaded a goat and the video is slowly going viral…
UPDATE: The Executive Director of Public Relations at Tulane University has asked us to make it known that the Louisiana Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and the New Orleans Police Department have found no evidence to suggest that this video involves or is related to any member of the Tulane community.

The Louisiana Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals said Wednesday that it received a 12-second cellphone video that shows a group of at least five young men decapitating a goat over a plastic swimming pool with a “machete-like sword.”

There is a difference between humanly killing an animal for food, and brutally decapitating one because you get off of it in a sick way. Being upset isn’t hypocrisy, its called being a normal socially well adjusted member of society who isn’t a burgeoning psychopath.

The point is, out of context, this video means nothing. They could have cooked the goat. The goat could have been old and sick or had a broken leg or any number of reasons for it needing to be put down.
