Phillip A. Cox, a brother of Sigma Phi Epsilon and the fraternity’s former national president, passed away on Saturday after a nearly three-year battle with cancer.
After graduating from Indiana University in 1984, Phillip A. Cox dedicated his life to the betterment of humanity through involvement in Sigma Phi Epsilon nationals. His steadfast dedication to volunteerism led to the creation of the Phillip A. Cox Volunteer Institute, which has since become a wildly successful volunteer initiative.
Cox will be dearly missed by his friends, family, SigEp brothers, and the entire Greek community.
