I’ve lived in Alabama my whole life and I’ve always thought Jacksonville State was a community college.

when a city is described as a state… its a community college. So yes it sounds like it is in fact a community college.

The only half decent schools in Alabama, athletically and academically are Auburn and Alabama. Your Greek life blows too.

That’s not true at all. Check out Birmingham-Southern. It’s been compared to Ivy League schools, has a great athletic program, even if it is just D3, AND 75% of the campus is involved in greek life.

^Sweet baby Jesus! You just made me laugh. (1) A retard could get in there (2) D3 athletics means it sucks at sports. I’ll give you the part about 75% of the campus being greek, however I doubt the quality matches the quantity.

There is no Jacksonville State Greek life. I know some guys from my high school that played football there, and they told me every fraternity member has to get a frat tat. What an embarrassment.

Lol… First of all, I know members in every fraternity at jax state, and getting the frat tat is not required…And second, JSU’s Greek life may not compare to some other school, but it is still legit. We make do with what we have. The athletic program is damn good too. Who beat Ole Miss last year in double overtime??? Regardless of the fact that is was by only 1 point. A win is a win..And to come back from that much of a point deficit…

Anyway…bottom line- Jacksonville State’s Greek life is pretty nice.

Correct me if I’m wrong but hasn’t southern had to drop about half of their majors because of major financial mismanagement? Let’s get real, Samford has stronger greek life than bsc.
