John Daly Talks About Nearly Dying On Golf Course And Ripping Cigs The Next Day

Nice Move

John Daly is one of the greatest characters in the history of sports, much less golf. That’s why it was so tragic to hear that he collapsed last weekend. Thankfully, he popped right back up and was hitting balls and ripping heaters the very next day. While we all collectively breathed a sigh of relief, Daly wasn’t concerned at all that he went three minutes without breathing or having a pulse.

He joined the PGA Tour Radio on SiriusXM to describe what it was like to essentially die on a golf course.

The biggest takeaway from the description was right here:

“They thought I had a heart attack. But I only smoke two packs of cigarettes a day, not three, so I’ll be all right.”

That’s huge news for Boosh, who goes through a few packs a day, about two Monsters, and eats nothing but fast food. We now can cross smoking off the list of what could potentially give him a heart attack.

You can’t stop John Daly. Only John Daly can stop John Daly.
