Spurriersvisor I am all for the republican way of earn what you work for, but greed is not a productive way to run a country. I do disagree with the whole well fare system being joke, but I think in certain circumstances aid is needed for people who actually do work hard and can’t afford certain necessities.

Greed is not a productive way to run a country? You sound like a fucking drugged out hippie in my cultural anthropology class. You lack to most basic grasp of economics.

Name a single society that has ever existed that was NOT run by greed. You can’t. Humans are greedy and want what’s best for themselves. The welfare system is a joke but that is preciely because we have greed, not despite it.

Bighoss, take laps until your lungs collapse.

^got it. Fuck you, free programs are what is wrong with this country. Everyone expects to get help in hard times. I know plenty of people that had little to no money and never went on welfare or got food stamps. They built their own success themselves through hard work and dedication. Put down the joint and turn down the bob marley, this is America.

Don’t get so upset big guy. I’m a drugged out hippie I just got a job at an investment banking firm pumping in close to 200,000. I think I know what I’m talking about. I was saying in the sense that maybe a middle class family had a child who has cancer, but cannot afford to pay for kemo. Does this child deserve to die or should that family be aided?

^ For as much of a dedicated Republican as I am, this guys got a point. However, this is what medicaid is supposed to be for. We don’t need a complete government takeover of the country’s healthcare system, especially if it’s going to send the country into more debt.
