Law School Intern Allegedly Gets Canned For Banging Hookers And Doing Coke

Summer internships can be monotonous, which can cause you and your fellow associates to get a little wild at night. At Latham and Watkins, one of the largest revenue law firms in America, they have a nice three-day summer academy for their summer associates that involves “training, socializing, and karaoke.” It seems that one of the interns got a little too rowdy.

The guy is allegedly over 35 years old and from a wealthy, and powerful family. He also just completed his first year at George Washington Law. First off, what the heck took him so long to realize that law was what he wanted to do? 35 plus? Secondly, what did he do to get canned?

From Above The Law:

According to our sources, this fellow missed several flights to Los Angeles, then upgraded his seat to first class — all on Latham’s dime. Upon arrival in L.A., B.S. allegedly upgraded his room to a penthouse suite using his own money. Unfortunately for him, his suite was next to a Latham partner’s suite. What could have possibly gone wrong?

It seems that B.S. was allegedly caught with cocaine and high-end prostitutes in his suite during Latham’s summer academy. One of our sources claims that B.S. “had the balls to bring one of the prostitutes to the firm dinner dressed in spandex.”

The reports are that Latham and Watkins dismissed the associate for his behavior at the summer academy.

He was gone after coming back from LWU — nobody seems to have been told why and they only knew because of the “squiggle of doom” (LW email puts a tilde next to a deactivated email address).

Latham and Watkins did not comment on the matter when Above The Law contacted them.

I’m really failing to see the problem here. What’s wrong with dipping into the booger sugar and paying for some high-end prostitutes?

Since it seems this guy comes from a loaded family, I think he’s going to find a way to land on his feet.
