Nice Move

One of the best fast food chains in the nation just celebrated its 66th birthday.

From Click 2 Houston:

Harmon Dobson, the man behind the burger that we all know and love, opened the first-ever Whataburger in Corpus Christi on Aug. 8, 1950.

There are now more than 700 restaurants that span in every state from Arizona to Florida.

I know what you might be thinking: “Come on Wes, (insert restaurant) is so much better, Whataburger has nothing on them!” I get it. But as for the major fast food chains, Whataburger is a cut above your standard fare of McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Subway, etc. Going there after the bars and getting an A1 Thick And Hearty Burger and taquitos was always a great way to end the night, and it’s one of the few places where the dining room is open all night.

When last call comes and goes, your ten bucks can get you everything you need at your local A-framed burger house. Happy birthday, Whataburger. I love you, even though you’ll probably result in me having fewer birthdays.
