Louisville Mayor Sends Early Morning Tweet From The Shitter

If there’s one thing Louisville, Kentucky Mayor Greg Fischer (D) loves, it’s fiber — both Google Fiber and the kind that keeps you regular.

On Friday, Fischer shared a seemingly innocuous tweet showing a cool infographic about Google Fiber in the day’s Courier Journal. But, like most people who still read the newspaper, he was doing it while on the shitter.

That’s clearly your run-of-the-mill bathroom floor and stall right there. It doesn’t help that the infographic vaguely looks like a penis too.

The tweet went relatively unnoticed over the weekend until a few observant Twitter users saw it Monday and thought, “Yep. That’s definitely our mayor dropping the kids off at the pool and tweeting about it.”

The Vanderbilt alum is in his second term as mayor of the city and is clearly getting a bit comfortable in the position.

Factoring in Mayor Fischer’s salary ($118,000 a year), a 40 hour / 5 day work week and assuming he spent about 15 minutes on the poo throne pooping, reading and tweeting, that shit sesh cost the nice taxpayers of Louisville about $15.

Extend that to a full year (assuming he takes a morning poop every day at work) and it’s costing $3,700 for Fischer’s bowel movements.

That’s $3,700 that could go to building extra sidewalks in the city. That’s $3,700 that could go to sheltering the homeless. That’s $3,700 that could feed hungry Louisville children.

Congrats on the Google Fiber, though.
