Nice Move

Keeping with an admirable tradition that has spread across college football in recent years, the Oregon Ducks will wear jerseys in their spring game Saturday that pay homage to the wonderful men and women of the United States Military.

“Words cannot express our gratitude to the men and women who serve our country, and this is why we will continue to salute our armed services as part of our Spring Game,” Oregon head coach Mark Helfrich said. “Obviously, we are extremely fortunate that Nike has chosen to play a major role with their innovative uniforms designed for this special day.”

I’ve got to say, these unis are pretty damn cool:

You can see all the pictures on their Facebook page.

Following the game, each Ducks player will personally present their jersey to one of over 100 uniformed members representing all branches of the armed services during an on field ceremony.

Hats off to Oregon and their admirable show of patriotism here. U.S.A. all the way.
