Nice Move

I’ve seen all kinds of tricks pulled by batters in intramural softball games. There’s the Maria Sharapova: swing with one hand and let out a high-pitched grunt. There’s the Roger Clemens: wait for a pitch to come too far inside, then storm the mound, bat in hand. And, of course, there’s the Happy Gilmore: square up mid-pitch and take the ball off the dome.

Now, there’s a new and unnecessary and over-the-top way to intimidate your IM opponent while earning runs.

Watch this French softball player pull off an unbelievable behind-the-back hit. Not only does he somehow make contact, but he sends that bad boy over the fence.

The glory days are over for me, but when you drunken assholes take the IM fields by storm this coming semester, be sure to give this trick a shot. Hit or miss, you know where to send the footage.
