End-of-the-year pool party was hosted by a subdivision in their private pool. Teens, who weren’t invited nor were residents, began to show up. They jumped over fences, started fights, and damaged property. This coming from a black man who is a resident of the subdivision, who adamantly says this issue isn’t about race. All you see is the video of the aftermath. According to another resident, the teens assaulted two security guards as well as a mother with her three children. They also threatened his “shoot up his house.” Pulling a gun was a bit excessive, but this isn’t a simple case of cop is a racist.
Oh, and also the teens came back later and vandalized cars and mailboxes, even stealing a truck and using it to damage other cars. It’s easy to make accusations when all you see is a 30 second video.
TL;DR and ill gladly lace ’em up for it, but I try to see both sides of the story.
It’s too late, the verdict has already been announced by the media and fools on the internet. Welcome to the new America, where anybody who interacts with a minority or “protected class” is guilty until proven innocent but forever guilty in the minds of the liberals.
This is comical. Here is the end of the link to the Facebook post made by Benet Embry, the black man referenced in the first half of the paragraph – 10152901015923202 – whose story contradicts the other accounts of what happened. The entire second half of your first paragraph comes from a man named Bryan Gestner, who as shown in the comments of the post, is a racist. He claims, in addition to what you posted, that they were drinking and also smoking weed, which I would assume if they were, many other witnesses who supports the officer would have pointed that out by now (they haven’t). I have not seen any official reports about vandalism, stealing truck, etc that have used a source other than this individual. However, I will not rule his account out. Instead, I will consider it and also consider the other accounts that state that the situation initially escalated due to a white adult woman making racist comments to a black teen girl, accounts that state that the woman told her to go back to her side of town and that the inhabitants of the neighborhood did not enjoy the sight of black teens taking over their community pool. They also said that none of the white teens were sought out by the officer and that the only ones being profiled were “black, arabian, or mexican.” The individual who filmed this video, I think, is white but you don’t see the officer yelling profanities at him. The officer only does so when he sees that he is filming him.
Since all of your substance comes from this Facebook post and what I added is also from this same Facebook post, your side of the story is just as credible as mine. It’s easy to make accusations when all you see is a 30 second video, but it’s also easy to make hypocritical statements when you are retarded.
“TL;DR and ill gladly lace ’em up for it, but I try to see BOTH SIDES of the story.”
You made a new account just for this?
Yeah. Sorry I didn’t make an account to make myself feel like I’m frat.
“Make myself feel like I’m in a frat”
Then why the fuck are you even on this website?
I live in McKinney where this happened and these kids jumped the fence to a private pool in a nice neighborhood and were disturbing the graduation party already happening there. Officer responded and tried to remove the kids and of course this happens. I really don’t see why a gun needed to be drawn but it’s not unreasonable to think a cop is gonna be angry if you mouth off and disrespect his authority. Unfortunate to see it happen in a normally pretty nice town.
Watch again more closely, the kid who ran made a gesture toward his back left hip which could easily be mistaken for reaching for a concealed weapon.
Finch. If you are a trained police officer. You do not. Under any circumstances. Draw a firearm in the middle of a crowd. That second officer calmed him down before he made a big mistake. The job is hard and I know there’s a lot of emotion, but that guy no matter what “racial spin” or “non-racial” spin you want to put on it did not do the right thing. If your family was in that crowd as one of the innocent bystanders you would not even attempt to justify his actions. Let alone scan for a guy “reaching for his back hip for a concealed weapon”.
And if that guy would have had a gun then a lot more people than just the officer might have been injured or killed. And not scanning, just plain obvious.
SomaliSig if there is ever a concern for your life whether it’s a tick or a small gesture. You do what is right to make sure you and the people around you are safe.
Are you a trained police officer?
The officer was subduing the suspect and several subjects closed in on him. For his safety, and for the safety of those around him, he drew his duty weapon. It is a prudent move given the fact that he does not know the intentions of those who surrounded him. This falls within most departments use of force policies. It might not be a good look for this department but he’s within his rights.
He should have tazed them in the pool and done the universe a favor
so TFM is defending shitty cops now
No one jumped the fence to a private pool party. This started because people were making racist comments telling the kids that were invited to the party to “go back to their section 8 housing” and some grown ass woman slapped a kid.
I actually live right down the street from where this happens in Craig ranch McKinney tx. They did hop the fence into a private party. And if they would just do what the officer said instead of arguing and yelling, it wouldn’t have escalated so badly
it’s not racist if it’s true
That women who told the naggers to go back to their Obama dorms was probably in charge. So no the naggers we’re obviously not welcome.
Stfu. White people would NEVER act like that.
You’re joking, right? White people make fools of themselves on the daily.
You bigoted conservatives down voted this, but he’s right. But of course you guy don’t care about the truth. Nor do yo care about the lives of black individuals. Fuck you guys
Pants up don’t loot.
The same ones defending this cop are probably the same ones criticizing the Oklahoma SAE chapter. You all put on a nice image when it’s absolutely necessary but definitely say the same shit that chapter was caught doing. Why? “Because I’m Southern.” Smh.
Go back to Southern you NAACP loving shit
Not at all fraternity or college related
Today’s common sense question.
When a police officer is making an arrest it’s best to:
a.) Quickly surround him with a group of people in an intimidating manner, yelling and screaming.
b.) Give him plenty of space to do their job
Apparently it’s option A these days considering all of the videos you’ll ever see in the news is a group of morons getting within inches of a cop yelling “fuck the police” and how their friend “didn’t do nothing” and intimidating him. Maybe if your friend wasn’t such a dirtbag he wouldn’t be getting arrested in the first place. Race isn’t the problem, it’s fucking retards not following the law and ill timed video recordings that only show the aftermath. Obviously not the case with every situation but still.
TFM is liberal now apparently. Guess you’re looking out for that ad revenue, right?
I don’t see how you concocted liberal from this.
Calling the cop psychotic and implying wrong-doing on his part in trying to deal with a gaggle of fuckheads acting like wild monkeys. Sounds like the tag line Huff Post would put on the video.
God forbid anyone criticize an officer in the face of video evidence showing their inability to operate under pressure.
I see your point. But pulling a gun out? It looked like the other cop was trying to calm the dude down. And the unnecessary barrel roll at the beginning probably drew the psychotic narrative.
I really don’t think that was a strategic barrel roll. I’m pretty sure he just ate shit.
You are one dumb fuck “on fleek”
The police are the enemy of fraternity life. Fuck the police.
Nobody likes you
This is what happens when you give an idiot too much authority
Agreed. They need to start requiring cops to have a bachelors degree. So many have these childhood egos and dont understand how the law works and that people have rights. They want an absolute what I say goes authority.
A bachelors degree isn’t going to help. There are plenty of people with phd’s that have childhood egos.
99.9% of them have major ego issues.
Our professors with Ph.D.s, that is.
A bachelor’s degree from most colleges is about the equivalent of a high school diploma. Most law enforcement officers, at least where I’m from, go through some sort of training school or a technical school as I understand it.
What exactly was the role of the heavy dude wearing jean shorts? Did he just want camera time?
Looks like Todd Storm is at it again.
It’s a shame that this quality, satirical, comment is going to be missed by most of the readers of this, satirical, publication because of all the serious, non satirical, back and forth dick measuring.
Seems like both parties were at fault here. Except one is a trained police officer who is expected to know how to conduct himself in situations like these, and the other is a bunch of kids. Yeah, they should know to respect an officer’s authority, but still.
