Look, I am no Russian sympathizer, even though I can read very basic elementary Russian and took Russian history throughout college, but I gotta give my man Vlad props for his hardline stance on ISIS in the days after the Paris attacks and the attack on the Russian airliner.

On Tuesday, Russia unleashed coordinated air strikes on ISIS, destroying multiple Daesh targets including command posts and training facilities. In the wake of these attacks, Putin hit us with a solid one-liner about terrorism that I wish Obama had the nuts to say.

From The Straits Times:

A tweet by Ms Remi Maalouf, a news anchor with television channel Russia Today, highlights Mr Putin’s colourful take on terrorism: “To forgive them is up to God, but to send them to him is up to me.”

“To forgive them is up to God, but to send them to him is up to me.”

Damn, even though it’s kind of a blatant rip off of “Kill them all and let God sort it out,” I appreciate the candid and aggressive response from Russia’s president. I know we aren’t all in agreement about Syria right now, but I’m glad we know which pesky little shits need to be eliminated first.

As a commenter pointed out earlier, you know ISIS is fucked when the United States AND Russia are seemingly in agreement about their existence. You’ve done fucked up if two of the world’s biggest rivals are in agreement about your demise.
