The 1% Needs Wealth Therapy For Dealing With All The Problems That Come With Having More Money Than You

All we hear about from the 99 percent is that they’ve got it rough. They take to Twitter and Wall Street to complain about their problems in a public setting, expecting pity — presumably burning valuable sick days and destroying American productivity.

But what about the wealthy people of America? Do they, too, not suffer? Why must we only focus on the issues that poors have when real problems exist among the real rich? Do you know how difficult it is to decide which luxury car to buy, which island to vacation on next, or whether or not to invest in a certain company? All this shit takes its toll. It’s hard out there for the rich.

Thankfully, there is help out there for us money-havers in the form of wealth therapy. The Guardian interviewed one of the most prominent wealth therapists, Clay Cockerall, to find out more about how the rich think.

There is guilt over being rich in the first place, he said. There is the feeling that they have to hide the fact that they are rich. And then there is the isolation – being in the 1%, it turns out, can be lonely.

Now you 99 percenters are making us hide the fact that we just straight up have so much more than you. Shame on you for wealth shaming. You disgust me.
