2016 has been a banner year for our nation’s youth. As America’s future leaders continue to give the world things like Dewshine, it’s become clear that this new breed of dumbshit needs a bit of chaperoning. Enter the Oxford Police Department’s Twitter Account. Yes, that means Oxford, Mississippi. Ole Miss.

As you may imagine, or even possibly have experienced, some weird stuff goes down in Oxford. Their Twitter is a great source of entertainment if your idea of a good time is laughing at the expense of others. If you’re still not sold, let’s go through some tweets.

Reader’s note:: I’m not sure who runs the account. I think it’s just a guy who rides along with the police sometimes or whatever. I did no research on this subject.

I’m fairly certain that this is the tweet that gave them notoriety. The best part about it is that there’s no way it’s made up.

Do you think they caught this guy?

They talk a little shit every now and then.

This was during the FSU game this year.

I really hope they don’t arrest this kid. He may actually think he’s cool.

Can you hotbox a double wide trailer?

They have a lot of patience.

Always have to remind ourselves that it’s Mississippi.

I’m not invested in this Twitter account for the jokes, or the memes. I’m in this because the Oxford Police seems to make people so goddamn mad online.

See what I mean?

Best of all, they get lots of advice about how to do their jobs from kid’s dads on gameday.

So there you have it. Follow @OxfordPolice on Twitter and don’t smoke crack.

shitto is a fifth sixth year and lifetime underachiever. He spends his time posting drivel online, waiting to be consumed by overwhelming apathy. The only thing of value he has ever given the world is a collection of old tweets. He's been called a "jealous hater" and an "idiot."
