Mohammad Hossain, 19, was arrested Saturday and charged with aggravated sexual assault due to what police say was a reenactment of scenes from “Fifty Shades of Grey.” Once arrested and interviewed by University of Illinois at Chicago detectives, Hossain admitted to assaulting a woman and to “doing something wrong.” His bail was set at $500,000 and he could face anywhere from six to 30 years in prison if convicted of the felony.

The freshman UIC student allegedly brought a 19-year-old female student back to his dorm and said she consented to being tied by both hands and feet to his bed. He covered her eyes with a knit cap, stuffed a tie in her mouth, took off her bra and panties, and then began whipping her with a belt. Sounds hot, but apparently she was NOT cool with all this. (This is why Christian Grey always has his submissive sign a contract.) Reportedly, the two had previously been “intimate” together, but were not “dating.”

Listen, all you kinksters out there. We’ve all got our weird fetishes. Oftentimes those are merely fantasy, because when it comes time to get tied up and dominated, you realize you like the idea of it and not actually doing it. Whether you’re a guy or a girl, it goes both ways. This is likely why the “Fifty Shades” books are so popular. Yeah, you’ll read about this shit, but no fucking way you’ll actually let your boyfriend tie you up like that. You’re not a freak (at least that’s what you want your standards board to think, anyway). Although, I’d venture to say at least one girl in every pledge class has a pair of fuzzy pink handcuffs that she may or may not have used. There’s probably one dude in every pledge class who wants hot wax poured on him and a candle stuck in his ass à la Jordan Belfort in “The Wolf of Wall Street” as well.

But dammit, guys, use a safe word for fuck’s sake.
