Nice Move

USC Shirts

In Alabama, there is nothing more sacred than the phrase “Roll Tide Roll.” In fact, I believe the official rankings are “Roll Tide Roll,” football, Nick Saban, and then God somewhere further down the list. Hillary is in dead last, obviously.

The Southern Cal bookstore, in an effort to troll the Crimson Tide fans, recently decided it’d be a good idea to start selling “Roll Tears Roll” t-shirts. USC and Alabama face off in a Week 1 opener Sept. 3 in Arlington, Texas.

My God. Give this t-shirt designer a raise. These are glorious.

At the same time, though, please fire whoever approved these shirts. Seriously. You mess with the bull, you get the horns. Oregon fans found that one out the hard way a few years ago with all of their “We Want Bama” signs. They, in fact, lost to Stanford and did not get Bama. Sad!

This might not be the best idea, USC. I’m sorry to break it to you but your past few football years have been nothing to brag about. The Lane Kiffin era was a shit show (although I thank you for bit of that). The Steve Sarkisian era was somehow more of a shit show. I can’t imagine Clay Helton is your lord and savior.

The shirts, selling at the low low price of $19.95, are supposedly selling out pretty quick. That’s one expensive tissue.
