After racking up six tackles, two forced fumbles, two and a half sacks, and a Super Bowl MVP, there is no denying that Von Miller was an integral part of why the Denver defense was so successful in stifling the Panthers. While an on-field performance such as that is hard to top, Miller gave it his best shot on social media in the hours following their Super Bowl victory.
The linebacker first extended an open invitation to Future on Instagram, with the caption, “You coming to the After Party or what??? Lol.” This in its own right is a subtle shot at Carolina considering that Future has been linked to Panther’s quarterback Cam Newton. Miller’s fun, however, was just getting started.
Somehow Miller found time during the team’s after party, which we are assuming Future failed to make an appearance at, to photoshop the “Crying Jordan” meme onto the faces of the Carolina team photo, which they also happen to be dabbing in. If that isn’t salt in the wound, I am not sure what is.
If there was any doubt as to what Miller thought about Cam’s on the field antics, we now have our answer. Frankly, I think it is safe to assume that Von’s performance both on the field and on social media will not be forgotten anytime soon by the Panther faithful. Luckily for us fans, the two personalities are set to clash again next season when the Panthers travel to play in Denver. Until then, however, Cam will simply have to wait patiently for his shot at redemption..
