Drunk Eagles Fan Accused Of Punching A Police Horse, Of Course

There are many ways to show your team pride. Buffalo Bills fans get aggressively drunk off riot punch and body slam flaming folding tables. Philadelphia Eagles fans, not to be outdone, are supposedly out here getting aggressively drunk and punching police horses. Does it surprise you? Different strokes for different folks!

From CBS News:

Police said a Pennsylvania man who was ejected from Saturday’s Philadelphia Eagles game assaulted a police horse after leaving the stadium. Taylor Hendricks, 22, was removed from Lincoln Financial Field before the start of the Eagles’ NFL playoff game against the Atlanta Falcons by stadium personnel who said he arrived intoxicated and was unable to produce a ticket.

“After the male was ejected he walked over to a mounted officer and began punching the horse in the face, neck and shoulder area,” the Philadelphia Police Department said in a statement to CBS News. The department said the officer who was riding the horse was also struck in the legs during the incident.”

Oh Philly. Proving over and over that you really are the city of brotherly love. Come on. Bring it in for a good old-fashioned bear hug.

It takes an extra special person to get kicked out of a game before kickoff. It takes an even MORE special person to get kicked out and then go bananas on a police horse. Have you seen those things?! If you see an officer barreling towards you on a police horse then you know you done fucked up bad and this arrest is gonna hurt.

Case and point.

You can’t fix stupid. Nor can you fix spending the night in jail for the first time Nick Foles actually does something with his career.

Hendricks is being charged with assault of a law enforcement officer, cruelty to animals, and aggravated assault. He was released after posting a portion of his $5,000 bail. Sadly, the posting of bail and hiring of a lawyer will set him back a few bones and his trip to the next Eagles playoff game/horse punching ceremony could be in jeopardy.
