I can say with confidence that former Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is one of my favorite people of all time. Not only did the man create one of the world’s earliest and greatest YouTube clips and turn it into a clothing brand, but he’s just a fun-loving guy on top of it all. So, naturally, when you pair Marshawn Lynch narrating his insane 2011 NFL Wild Card game run against the Saints with an iguana running away from a bevy of snakes in the BBC’s “Planet Earth II” you’re going to find greatness.
Okay. A few things to unpack here:
-Thank you whoever made this piece of bonerific awesomeness
-Holy shit iguanas can run fast
-And, oh yeah, WHERE TF IS THAT ISLAND AND WHY TF HAVE WE NOT NUKED THE SHIT OUT OF IT YET?! WHAT IN THE FLYING MOTHER EFFING JESUS TITS IS THAT HELL HOLE?!?!?!
That was an action-packed bit from start to finish, no doubt. That iguana is one lucky shit. I thought he was toast when there were roughly 10 snakes all strangling him, but he beast moded his way out of there in true Marshawn fashion. Absolutely impressive. I was really hoping the iguana would’ve grabbed his dick as he jumped across to freedom though. Maybe a “you know why I’m here” at least. I guess we can’t have it all.
Whoever made that little slice of heaven grabbed the audio from this Lynch interview on ESPN. It’s quite literally the greatest run in the history of the NFL and worth watching 1,000 times today, tomorrow and the next day:
Beast mode, bitches..
