Last night, the NCAA decided to put to rest any notion that they don’t take care of their players. Worried that folks might not think they are giving them what they need to succeed, they tweeted about giving all the players free WiFi at the team hotels during March Madness. Probably something every hotel offers anyway.
The NCAA provides free wi-fi to student-athletes at all of the team hotels during the DI men's basketball championship.

Oh, wow! The NCAA figured it all out. Paying players? Fuck that. How about free fucking WIFI?! The NCAA knows that kids these days are tethered to their Instagrams/Facebooks/Twitters, so why not pay them back with a great internet connection so they can upload all those dope photos.
Of course the tweet was going to set off a chain reaction.

@InsidetheNCAA when you make millions off of them, what's free internet every now and then?

@InsidetheNCAA how thoughtful. Will you also provide them with free government cheese? Hope for high ratings so these benefits can continue!

@InsidetheNCAA I'm surprised this isn't a violation of some ridiculous rule that you have in place

@InsidetheNCAA wow, free wifi huh? between that and free continental breakfast in the lobby I don’t what else you could possibly do

@InsidetheNCAA wow those students are living large. It's not like you get wi-fi on campus or anything
