I am on record as being someone who has an affinity for the type of girl who will burn your house to the ground. However, let me clarify that I meant for that proclamation to only ever come across in a more figurative sense. Any person who actually goes around burning down houses is a full-blown psychopath. This (now former) student from St. Paul, Minnesota who was arrested for doing just that, certainly seems to fit the mold.
From Fox News:
Tnuza Jamal Hassan, 19, a former student at St. Catherine University in St. Paul, allegedly confessed to investigators that she started multiple fires on campus last week, including one in a dormitory housing a day care center.
She was charged with first-degree arson and was held Friday night in the Ramsey County Jail on $100,000 bail.
“Hassan stated she started the fires because she’s been reading about the US military destroying schools in Iraq or Afghanistan and she felt that she should do exactly the same thing,” a criminal complaint said. “She said that her fire-starting was not as successful as she wanted.”
Can’t you just protest like a normal college student and disrupt library quiet hours or rabble at a professor that said something you don’t have the intelligence to debate? Even if you’re going for some sort of extremist vibes, there are a lot of things short of setting the place ablaze that will still get your point across. Go on a hunger strike or throw blood on fellow students. And of all the possible places to commit arson on, she chose a fucking daycare? Movie villains aren’t that messed up.
Thankful, a successful sprinkler system stymied this girl’s attempt, keeping everyone inside safe. And if she didn’t seem nuts enough, here is a final quote to summarize her crazy.
The complaint claims the woman told the police and fire investigators that “You guys are lucky that I don’t know how to build a bomb because I would have done that.”
Please lock her up. She may be too crazy to understand the error of her ways, but I certainly have learned my own. Never will I find some sick attraction to the “burn-your-house-to-the-ground” type of girl ever again. She may actually do it..
