If you watched the final round of Justin Thomas, who led in the WGC-Mexico Championship after three of the tournament’s four days, you watched a professional golfer do the exact same shit you do when the wheels are falling off because golf is the most frustrating, terrible, garbage, amazingly fun sport known to man.
Thomas ended up finishing T5 after shooting a +1 72, and sent out a tweet post-round about his meltdown that also congratulated Dustin Johnson on winning…
then another talking about his multiple on-the-course outbursts.
JT’s close friend Rory McIlroy found this to be the perfect opportunity to roast his buddy, so he want all in.
I wish I could roast that well. That’s the kind of high brow roast content that only those from across the pond can provide. Damn those clever Brits and their Monty Pythonesque quips. American born Rickie Fowler did his best to tag along and also roast Justin, but it was pretty meh.
Luckily Justin saved America’s reputation by responding to Rory’s roast with a phenomenal retort.
