Andy Reid doesn’t get nearly enough credit for the empires he’s built. Last week, he joined George Halas, Don Shula, and Bill Belichick as the only coaches with career win-loss records 100 games over .500. The man deserves his flowers…or maybe a pulled pork sandwich in his case. The Chiefs come into this game after sticking out a tough win against the Chargers. We didn’t see the Chiefs’ air-raid attack dominate as usual, as the Chargers did a pretty good job locking up Travis Kelce and Juju Smith-Schuster, but their running game did its job. Clyde Edwards-Helaire looked like a woman in a Kmart on Black Friday, bursting for a career-high fifty-two-yard run to break the game wide open with four minutes left in the fourth quarter. But the Chiefs really won this game on defense. Chris Jones, George Karlaftis, Carlos Dunlap, and Frank Clark did a great job putting more pressure on Justin Herbert than a first-generation Asian American puts on their child around ACT time. And seventh-round draft pick Jaylen Watson changed the game with his pick-six. Watson, who was barely even recruited out of high school, won AFC defensive player of the week in his second career game.

The Colts have been more disappointing than any of us in the bedroom after that fourth rum and coke. The Colts’ offense has looked ugly…like so ugly you would wake up next to them, and your Uber couldn’t get there fast enough. Matt Ryan had a rough day under center against the Jaguars, only completing sixteen of thirty passes for 195 yards and three interceptions while getting sacked five times. Ryan ranks thirty-first in passer rating (63.9), twenty-second in completion percentage (60.0) and tied second with four interceptions. He’s been hit eighteen times, including seven sacks, on eighty-seven drop-backs. Because of Ryan’s poor performance, along with some bad games from guys on Indy’s offensive-line, Jonathan Taylor’s job has not been easy, so it’s a really good thing he’s the best running back in the league. Taylor currency sits third in rushing yards while the rest of the Colts’ offense statistically looks like a fat guy that crapped his pants on a cruise. Vegas likes the Chiefs -6.5, and they will win this game by two touchdowns or more. I know guys Matt Ryan’s age that need to take pills to please their wife, much less be a competent NFL quarterback. The Colts’ pass defense has also been mediocre at best, so adjust your fantasy lineup accordingly. Take the Chiefs moneyline and get your free $200 from DraftKings!
