The last place in the AFC South Titans host the last place in the AFC West Raiders in Nashville in week three of NFL football for a game that, before the season, we all would’ve thought would be a much bigger deal. Instead, it’s a battle between two underperforming and 0-2 teams. The Raiders fell to the Chargers week one (19-24) and the Cardinals in overtime during week two (23-29). The Titans lost a tight game to the Giants week one (20-21), and they got absolutely spanked on Monday Night Football against the Bills (7-41). Derek Carr has not proven that he’s the elite QB everyone was saying he was before the season started, and while Ryan Tannehill has been weak so far (something that a lot of us saw coming), it’s been Derrick Henry’s lack of dominance coming off of last year’s injury that has really hurt the Titans offense and left them as 2.5 point underdogs at home for week three.

Both of these teams are due. No one likes going 0-2 to start a season, and you like it even less when you’ve got tons of talent all around you – which is the case for both the Raiders and the Titans. As much as a weak secondary in the Titans defense and weapons like Davante Adams, Hunter Renfrow, and Darren Waller for Derek Carr to look for, this week is looking like the perfect storm for a Titans upset in Nashville. Tannehill has to be fired up after going 11-20 passing with two picks and getting benched, and there’s no doubt Derrick Henry’s got a fire lit under his ass after being held to only twenty-five yards on Monday night. I’m feeling a two touchdown, 100+ rushing yard game from Henry that will spark the dominant type of season we’re used to. This week will leave Raiders fans real disappointed in Derek Carr, who (unlike Joe Flacco) is simply not elite. Take the Titans money-line and get your free $200 from DraftKings!
