The World Series is tied at one game a piece after the first two games of what could be a seven game series were played in Houston. After an incredible comeback win in extra innings in game one, the Phillies fell flat to the Astros in game two, as Zack Wheeler had probably his worst performance of the season. Now, the series heads to Philadelphia for three games. Grease the polls, prepare Xfinity Live, and take shelter because the Phillies haven’t lost at home yet this post season, and if they keep that trend up, the city of Philadelphia may end up like my butt after eating Halal food: completely engulfed in flames. The game was postponed due to rain, which has lead to some slight changes in the starting pitching.

Lance McCullers will still take the mound for Astros, who boasts a 2.45 ERA this post-season. The last time he pitched against the Phillies was October 3rd, when they clinched a playoff berth in Houston. He pitched well against the Mariners, going six scoreless in his appearance in that series, but let up four runs against the Yankees in game four that Houston was able to come back and clinch. For the Phillies, Ranger Suárez will take the rubber, who boasts a 2.22 ERA in the postseason. Ranger has been clutch when the Phils need him, and they need him big tonight. Keeping the Astros to under three runs would be a major victory if Suárez can go six or seven innings. With a hard hitting and dangerous Phillies offense, McCullers can’t afford to let up any runs early because once these guys get rolling it’s tough to stop. Regardless of who’s on the mound, though, this game is going to be decided by the bats, and the Phillies’ offense playing at Citizens Bank Park is a bigger advantage than I can put into words here. There’s no way they lose the first game back at home. Take the Phillies money-line and get your free $200 from DraftKings!
