Imagine Making Millions Of Dollars A Year, And Your Team Is Sliding You Money Under The Table

Before I start writing, I need to say that I’m a die-hard Knicks fan. I hate the Brooklyn Nets and their fans with a fire that hasn’t been there in many years. Am I mad that Kevin Durant decided to choose Brooklyn over New York? Am I mad that Kyrie chose Brooklyn over New York? Am I mad that they traded for James Harden and created a superteam right next door? Fuck yes, I’m mad about all of that. Then this report comes out that the Nets were giving money to Nets player’s girlfriends. What the fuck? If other teams are going to cheat, why aren’t the Knicks? James Dolan is rich start handing out some money to players’ girlfriends, their wives, their moms. I don’t care; let us get some superstars.

A very high-ranking official with the Nets who had a lot to do with the money said basically, there’s a blank check as soon as these guys got here – whether that’s buying a girlfriend or a girlfriend on the side a house in California for a week, whether that’s just putting up money for the boys and the homeboys and equipment for random s***, they’re totally cool with that. Just renting a house on the team dime. These guys don’t pay for a lot of personal stuff themselves. And so, the financial team of the Nets would kind of come every week or so, they’d be like, “OK, we thought we had this under control. We’ve got to redo the budgets every week.” And they were like it was just a new thing every damn time.

We have random side pieces getting houses for the week. God damn, I wish I could slide into DM’s and then get a house in Cali for a week. Somebody needs to get on the phone with Adam Silver right away. I don’t care what it takes, but the Nets should get in trouble for this. In school and life, if you break the rules, you get in trouble. Shit, here at TFM, we are dealing with getting in trouble with Instagram. Break the rules and get in trouble. It’s as simple as that. It even says so in the CBA.

Salary-cap circumvention is a serious charge. The Collective Bargaining Agreement restricts player compensation to only terms specified in uniform contracts. Consequences for violations could be extreme – large fines or even voided contracts.

You read that right voided contracts. Get Durant, Kyrie, and Harden the fuck out of Brooklyn. It’s time for them to be free agents again, and now that the Knicks have their shit together, come on, KD, come to the Knicks. Maybe it was your first job as a dishwasher, but everybody has been paid under the table. Instead of sliding a $50 at the end of your shift every night, we have houses being rented out in Cali for a week. I guarantee that’s not cheap.

I can see many dorks in charge of the budget for the superstars of the Nets. They are crunching all of the numbers and freaking out how much they have to give to the four girlfriends that KD has or the five strippers that Harden flew out. They are so jealous of the luxurious life that the superstars live, and here they are changing budgets.

Once again, Knicks and James Dolan start cheating so we can get superstars. Also, Adam Silver, are we going to terminate these contracts?
