Anonymous Takes Claim For Hacking Russian Media

Anonymous, the notorious hacking group, claims to have hijacked Vladimir Putin’s regularly scheduled propaganda programming and is giving civilians coverage of what is happening in Ukraine.

The group is taking responsibility for several mass disruptions across multiple Russian TV broadcasts over the last weekend. The hack included a couple of popular streaming services as well as state media channels.

Videos from inside the country appear to show that Anonymous also aired real war footage from Ukraine. If true, that would be one of the best swings in momentum because most Russians do not even believe there’s a war, and if they do know they are lead to believe that Russia is liberating Ukraine, not taking it over.
