As much as we all love to clown Paul George, his return is huge for the Clippers. LA’s better team was able to tread water thanks to a relatively easy schedule throughout January and February, but it finally caught up with them in March. There’s a reason I love betting Bulls basketball; the Bulls are quite frankly the most honest team in the NBA. The Bulls are like me when I go to the bar. Can I get with the hottest girl? No. But a soft six like the Clippers are in my wheelhouse. The Bulls are 22-10 against teams below 500, and 22-22 against teams 500 or better. The Clippers sit at 37-39 – just hanging on for the eighth spot in a top-heavy West.
The Clippers have one of the worst offenses in the NBA, and while PG’s return will assuage their Dust Bowl scoring ability until Kawhi gets back on the floor, I don’t see them beating the Bulls. Chicago is really only susceptible to losing against the NBA’s six or seven best teams with their guards now back. Demar Derozan will continue to build on his career year, as the Bulls will take care of business tomorrow night. Take Chicago, take the under.
