After ending their regular season with a loss to the number 4 ranked UCLA Bruins, the Arizona Wildcats are coming into the Pac-12 tournament with a chip on their shoulder. The loss to UCLA is not something for gamblers to get caught up on. UCLA has been a force to be reckoned with having only 4 losses this season. Even more of a reason to have faith in Arizona is that one of those losses was courtesy of the Wildcats.
Stanford has been fine, maybe a little below average. They score almost 70 points a game which is respectable, but struggle on defense. They’re a team that is careful with the ball and limits turnovers, sharing the ball well and shooting fairly efficiently. Stanford beat Arizona earlier in the season, and also has wins against teams like Washington, Utah, and Oregon. Just like the last time these teams met, a win for Stanford isn’t probable, but it’s never impossible.
The Arizona front court is the one-two punch of all one-two punches. Names you should remember for Saturday. Azuolas Tubelis, and Oumar Ballo. These two guys are the starting center and power forward of this team, and oh my goodness, are they gross together. This duo is combining for about 34 points per game, 18 rebounds per game, and two blocks per game. And you’re telling me they’re about to play a team where their best-listed big man is 3rd in rebounding on his own team? I don’t know; that’s a tall order to ask anyone to do. I mean, Arizona scores almost 15 more points a game than Stanford and shoots almost 5% better from the field. I think Arizona can win this one purely based on offensive prowess.
This game won’t end like the last time these two met, I’m taking the Wildcats. Bet on Arizona and get up to $1,111 in bonus bets!
