Week 5 of the NFL season will feature one of the most storied rivalries in NFL history. Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens will travel to Paycor Stadium to take on Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals.
This will be a pivotal matchup for both teams as the season progresses and games become more important in terms of playoff seeding.
For the Ravens, they needed a statement win in the worst way and did just that on Sunday Night Football last weekend. They protected home field against Josh Allen and the undefeated Buffalo Bills, handing them their first loss in Week 5.
A major reason for that win was an out-of-body performance by their star running back Derrick Henry. He had two touchdowns and 209 yards of total offense, including 199 rushing yards.
The Ravens acquired Henry in the offseason and so far he has proven to be worth the price of admission, scoring four touchdowns in their last two games.
For the Bengals, they are just looking for any inkling of hope after a 1-3 start to the season. They were finally able to get into the win column in Week 4 but it came against a struggling Carolina Panthers team that also sits at just 1-3 on the season.
The Bengals still have their work cut out for them this season. Especially playing in an absolutely stacked AFC North division that features two elite teams in the Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers.
A win against a quality team like the Ravens could be just the shot in the arm that Cincinnati needs to turn their season around.
So whether you are rooting for a clear favorite or hoping for a miracle by the underdog, the most important thing to remember is that you must be in it to win it.
