Week 6 of the NFL season will feature two of the most explosive offenses in the NFL as the Seattle Seahawks will do battle with the San Francisco 49ers. And with the season nearing the midway point every win and loss is beginning to hold a little more value as teams prepare for the playoff chase. The 49ers and the Seahawks are coming off tough losses, and winning could be just what the doctor ordered.

The Seahawks are coming off a tough loss to a struggling New York Giants team. Seahawks’ kicker Jason Myers had a chance to hit a chip shot field goal and send the game into overtime. However, the Giants had other plans and blocked the kick and returned it for a touchdown. After that loss, the Seahawks have dropped two straight games after a 3-0 start to the year. Their schedule will get tougher as the season progresses. Three of their next four games are against teams who made the playoffs last season. They’ll be looking to right the ship against the 49ers o

The 49ers were expected to be a serious contender coming off their Super Bowl loss to the Kansas City Chiefs last season. But to this point, they have for the most been surface-level contenders. They are sitting with a 2-3 record in the NFC West. Although their record leaves a lot to be desired, one thing to consider is the number of injuries that they have had to deal with. Christian McCaffrey, Deebo Samuel, and George Kittle have all missed time this season. There is still a lot of this season left to be played. And as 49ers head coach Mike Shanahan continues to chase that elusive Super Bowl ring, you wonder if he could consider making any moves as the trade deadline approaches.

So whether you are rooting for a clear favorite or hoping for a miracle by the underdog, the most important thing to remember is that you must be in it to win it.
