Well the Cowboys despite looking shaky at times are above .500 at 3-2. Dak has looked solid, but some things need to change if this team is going to achieve the goals set by their owner in the preseason. It seems McCarthy might be on the hot seat as this defense has not looked great and the offense is underperforming. With weapons like Ceedee you just have to score more points. With some banged up defensive players an already weak looking team is going up against a ruthless Detroit offense… Will it get ugly?
I think it might get a little out of hand at least for a bit. The Lions are stacked on offense especially with Goff looking like he has recently. Amon-Ra is one of the best wideouts in the league, LaPorta is gross, and the two-headed monster of Monty and Gibbs has the league scared whenever the ball is handed off. The defense is solid and with an offense like this led by a coach like Campbell we should be in for a treat this weekend.
So whether you are rooting for a clear favorite or hoping for a miracle by the underdog, the most important thing to remember is that you must be in it to win it.
