Week 6 of the NFL is officially here! With the season nearing its midway point, wins and losses start to mean more and more with each passing week. The Sunday finale of Week 6 features a matchup between the Cincinnati Bengals and New York Giants. And both teams need a win in the worst way.

The expectations for the New York Giants were relatively low coming into this season. They didn’t qualify for the playoffs last season and during the season they lost their star running back Saquon Barkley to the Philadelphia Eagles in free agency. This season has been much of the same as last season. They are dead last in the NFC East with a record of 2-3 on the season. They are also a snooze fest to watch. They are bottom 10 in the league in both points and yards per game. However, the NFL is a week-to-week league. And just one win could change their fortune this season. It won’t be an easy task as their rookie standout wide receiver Malik Nabers and star linebacker Kayvon Thibodeaux will both be sidelined.

The Cincinnati Bengals came into this season with a much higher upside than the Giants. Their starting quarterback Joe Burrow is finally healthy. And despite not having a new deal their standout wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase finally showed up to training camp. But despite having a myriad of offensive weapons at their disposal, the Bengals have underperformed. They currently have a 1-4 record and are in last place in the AFC North division. Thankfully for the Bengals, it is a long season with a lot of football left to be played. And they will have a great opportunity to make some headway during this upcoming stretch. Three of their next four games are against teams that didn’t make the playoffs last season.

So whether you are rooting for a clear favorite or hoping for a miracle by the underdog, the most important thing to remember is that you must be in it to win it.
