Get ready for some DRAMA college football fans! Week 11 of the college football season is officially here! After a high-intensity Week 10, there will be even more important games this week. Most teams want to take things to another level with bowl season and the College Football Playoff right around the corner. With college football’s regular season nearing its conclusion, every win and loss counts more from this point forward. One of the key matchups this week will be the Colorado Buffaloes taking on the Texas Tech Red Raiders in what should be a key Big 12 rivalry game.
The Buffaloes came into this season looking to put the college football world on notice and they have done just that. As winner of 3 of their last four games, all of which have come against FBS schools, Colorado has earned this first AP-Top 25 ranking of the coach prime era, ranked 21st in the nation.
But in their first-ever ranked game in the Prime era, the Buffaloes will have their hands full with Texas Tech, one of their rivals in the Big 12 conference. Especially after a huge win over 17th-ranked Iowa State last weekend.
The Red Raiders will be -2.5 point favorites when they take on the Buffaloes. But a large reason for that could be the fact that they are hosting Colorado. The Red Raiders defense is one of the worst in college football. Their defense ranks 123rd out of 134 FBS schools allowing 36.0 points per game. That won’t bode well against Coach Prime’s explosive offense led by the electric tandem of Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders.
