Washington Commanders v Philadelphia Eagles

Welcome to Week 11 of the NFL season! With the season nearing closer to its conclusion, every game is magnified. The stakes are heightened, and the pressure is even greater — especially for teams with hopes of contending for a Super Bowl this season. One of the most important matchups of Week 11 is the surprising Washington Commanders taking on the red-hot Philadelphia Eagles in what should be a highly competitive NFC East showdown.

The Eagles were slow out of the gates to start the season. After four games, they were 2-2 and didn’t look like a team with the makings of a title contender. But after a pedestrian start the Eagles have caught fire, and so far, no team has been able to put the flame out, as they have won five consecutive games. A large reason for their recent winning streak has been their star running back Saquon Barkley, who they acquired as a free agent in the offseason. He has rushed for more than 100 rushing yards in three of those victories.

The Washington Commanders have undoubtedly been the biggest surprise of the NFL season. The Commanders were not expected to make much of an impact this season. However, that has all changed because of their rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels, who has thrown nine touchdowns and just two interceptions this year. But even as a rookie, the pressure is on Daniels. After the Commanders had controlled the top seed in the NFC East for most of this season, the Eagles stormed back to take the top spot.

With sole ownership of the division on the line in this game, expect it to be a goodie.
