The Eagles just keep finding ways to win this season. After a 2-2 start people were pessimistic about this year’s team, but how quickly the tables have turned as the team has reeled off eight consecutive victories. And after their win over the Washington Commanders in Week 11, they now stand alone atop of the NFC East. One of the biggest reasons for this latest stretch of victories has been the play of their featured running back Saquon Barkley, who notched two touchdowns in primetime against Washington. Playing against a Los Angeles Rams team who is bottom ten in the league in rushing yards allowed, Barkley could be in for another big night.
The NFC West continues to be one of the most in the league. The Arizona Cardinals currently have the lead in the division with a record of 6-4 but the Los Angeles Rams, Seattle Seahawks, and San Francisco 49ers are all in a three-way tie for second place and still have a realistic chance of capturing the division. That makes the stakes in this matchup even higher for the Rams. Los Angeles will need another huge game from their standout wide receiver Puka Nacua who had 7 receptions for 123 yards and a touchdown against the Patriots in Week 11.
The Eagles come into this matchup as the favorite with the line being 3 points.
So whether you are rooting for a clear favorite or hoping for a miracle by the underdog, the most important thing to remember is that you must be in it to win it.
