After a slow start to the season Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams have gradually become one of the hottest teams in the NFL as we near the postseason. They are currently riding a four-game winning streak and sit atop the NFC West division with a record of 9-6. But with the Seattle Seahawks keeping pace with the Rams, holding to an 8-7 record, the Rams cannot afford to get comfortable.

After a loss to the Carolina Panthers in Week 16, the Arizona Cardinals have officially been eliminated from postseason contention. But that doesn’t mean they’ll be unmotivated heading into this matchup. Having the chance to stick it to their conference rival in a must-win game is all the motivation they need. And with weapons such as Kyle Murray and Marvin Harrison Jr. expected to suit up in Week 17, the Cardinals could make this game competitive.

The Rams come in as the favorites in this matchup by a 6.5-point margin over the Cardinals. Oddsmakers also believe that this matchup will be a high-scoring affair with the over/under marked at 48.5 points.

So whether you are rooting for a clear favorite or hoping for a miracle by the underdog, the most important thing to remember is that you must be in it to win it.
