The Ravens fans have had a rollercoaster season, but what matters now is they they have made it to the postseason after an 0-2 start. The addition of superstar running back Derrick Henry has been a major reason for their success this year. Henry has accumulated 1921 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns this season. But the major concern for Baltimore fans this year has been the Ravens’ defense. For a team that has had one of the most explosive offenses in football, their defense has been that much more disappointing as they have allowed 244 passing yards per game which ranks 31st in the league.
For much of his career the Pittsburgh Steelers were alluded to as Lamar Jackson’s kryptonite. But a week 16 win in Pittsburgh could be just what Jackson needed to get the monkey off his back which would spell trouble for the Steelers in the Wild Card round. It doesn’t help that Pittsburgh enters this matchup riding a four game losing streak, and that their starting quarterback Russell Wilson, has a touchdown to interception ratio of 3:2 in his last three games..
The oddsmakers are not giving the Steelers much of a chance in this one. The Ravens are the heavy favorites in this matchup by a 9.5-point margin over Pittsburgh and the over/under marked at 43.5 points.
So whether you are rooting for a clear favorite or hoping for a miracle by the underdog, the most important thing to remember is that you must be in it to win it.
