Following the success of the first-ever “Florida Man Games” last summer, they are running it back bigger and better.
Taking place in downtown Saint Augustine last year, the organizers have decided to move it to the St. John’s County Fairgrounds for the bigger space so more spectators can enjoy the elite level of competition.
With events like “Evading Arrest” and “Beer Belly Sumo Wrestling”, you absolutely didn’t want to miss this incredible event and witness just how wild Florida can get.
It seemed like a great time with 10 teams from all across the state coming to compete, including an all-women team. Other attractions included live gators, human beer pong, and I am sure plenty of boozing.
This all started with a social media account posting wild news headlines from Florida, usually along the lines of, “Florida man arrested for doing something absolutely insane you would never have imagined” accompanied by a mugshot.
It seems like some Florida Pride is flourishing and they are leaning into the trend.
