ESPN’s ‘Around the Horn’ is Cancelled…

Well, after 23 years, it seems ESPN is canceling one of its most well-known shows, Around the Horn.

Hosted by Tony Reali, the show features a rotating panel of guests who give their takes on sports hot topics in order to get points for “good takes”, and avoid their mics being muted.

In my personal opinion, it was not one of the best things ESPN had to offer, but the unique style and revolving cast discussing hot topics kept the concept fresh even after two-plus decades of being on the air.

Filling the timeslot will be a thirty-minute version of SportsCenter after Around the Horn signs off for the last time.

What a run for this show, hopefully this is not a sign of more issues of Funding and changes over at ESPN.
