The Cavaliers against the Celtics. This is the fourth game of the series between these two top Eastern Conference teams. Currently, the Cavaliers hold the edge over the C’s two to one, and I don’t see the Celtics coming to even the record, not after this recent string of games that they’ve had. If you can’t beat the Nets with a 27-point lead, there’s no way you’re beating the Cavaliers.

The Celtics have lost the title of the best team in the NBA and the best record in the NBA in one week. Losing to both New York teams in the span of three games will do that to you. As much as they have been in some really horrible form recently, I do have to give the team at least a little bit of props. Jayson Tatum is an elite player; he’s averaging 30 points per game, 9 rebounds per game, and almost 5 assists per game. The most elite part of his game, though, is the fact that he is one of the few superstars who actually tries on defense, averaging a steal and almost a block per game. Not to mention the firepower this team possesses when they all get rolling. However, they have been in some horrible form recently.

The Cavaliers may have just gotten beaten by the C’s, but they will be back with a vengeance. They’ve beaten the Celtics twice this season already, and it’s very likely that they will beat them again. The Cavs have four players on their roster that either have been or could be All-Stars. Donovan Mitchell, Jarrett Allen, Darius Garland, and Evan Mobley. I could spend pages talking about the talent of all these guys, but to focus on one of them, let’s talk about Donovan Mitchell. He is currently the best shooting guard in the league. Averaging 27.5 points per game and 1.5 steals per game. He is an absolutely elite-level scorer, and it’s only easier for him with all of the threats he has all over the rest of the court.

The Cavaliers have the series edge over the Celtics, and I don’t see that changing with this game. Bet on the Cavalier’s moneyline and get your extra $200 in bet credits.
