It’s time for one of the most anticipated bouts of the year as Jake Paul returns to the ring to take on UFC Star Nate Diaz after taking his first loss of his career by split decision. Let’s break it down.
Now Nate Diaz is a baaaad man. 22-13 in the UFC, but this is his first ever professional boxing match. While he has shared the octagon with names like Conor McGregor, Jorge Masvidal, and Tony Ferguson, taking on “The Problem Child” in a boxing match is a whole new thing. Sure he’s not a boxer but Diaz has contended for belts in the UFC. Standing at six feet tall Diaz is a big guy with respectable reach. Nate is getting up there in age and the 38 year old will need to be able to generate a lot of power in his punches to be able to compete with the younger more experience Paul. Will he be able to win as an underdog and embarrass Jake Paul handing him his second ever loss?
Personally I don’t think so. Sure Diaz was a fighter but so have some of Paul’s previous opponents and he has been able to beat them. Jake also has some height advantage standing an inch taller than Nate. Not only that but he walks heavier and should come into the fight stronger but also heavier than Diaz. Jake should really be focused on the attack as Nate likes to look for chances to counter, and I really think Jake’s experience in the ring should be enough to push him to victory in this huge fight. The pressure is on for former Disney Channel and Youtube star Jake Paul, as he tries to make a name for himself in professional boxing this is a fight he should absolutely come out of as the victor. Vegas agrees with me as Paul is a pretty significant favorite.
Don’t miss one of the biggest boxing matches we’ve seen in a while, and if you’re going to bet on any of the fighters, please do it responsibly.
