Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages (as long as you are 21+ and can legally gamble)… FOOTBALL IS SO BACK. After an honestly pretty good Hall of Fame game we have a huge slate of preseason football. In that is Browns vs Commanders which should prove to be a pretty darn good football game. Here’s what you should know to (responsibly) make the most out of this sweet offer.

So the Commanders biggest win of the past couple of years is their owner having to sell the team. That being said, they have a solid preseason roster despite being in a sort of bridge year without many expectations. Starters might get a little burn, but as is the case with most preseason it’ll for the most part be backups and guys fighting for a roster spot who play the most. Washington is not the deepest team in the NFL which gives me some pause when thinking about picking a winner. Sure Brissett is solid and I’m sure Fromm is decent, but the skill positions and overall talent of the roster are on the lower end according to my super athletic blogger brain.

Now we have already seen the Browns play a little this preseason in their win over the Jets. DTR, or Dorian Thompson-Robinson to you casuals, was honestly so good, 8/11 passing for 82 yards and a touchdown with 36 rushing yards and a sick lead block which led to another touchdown. Kellen Mond was also good with 92 yards a td and a pick, Demetric Felton was good for 46 rushing yards with 6.6 yards per carry, and Austin Watkins had 35 receiving yards with a touchdown. The defense was good too, only allowing 16 points. Overall this was a fun game with good football played by mostly the Browns. Combine their more talented roster with the experience of already having played a preseason game and I think they should be able to win this one against the Commanders.

We’ve already seen the Browns be good, so I’m rolling with them. Take either team’s moneyline and get your extra $200 in bet credits.
