The Cavs against the Heat. I don’t know why people keep pretending that this Heat team is anything when they sit in 7th in the East, and 2.5 games out of actual playoff contention. They’ve gone on a cute little run recently, but it doesn’t mean they’re suddenly an eastern conference powerhouse. The Cavaliers win this game easily.
Now I won’t pretend that the Miami Heat have a bunch of scrubs on the court. Even though this team is practically .500 on the season they do still have past and current all-stars galore—namely Kyle Lowry, Jimmy Buckets, and Bam Adebayo. Bam is almost averaging a double-double in points and rebounds with over 21 points per game. He’s truly starting to grow into his own in this league and it’s both impressive and scary to watch. And Jimmy Buckets will always be a hooper, at least in the couple of games that he plays per year. He’s leading the team in points and steals. Being a menace on both ends of the floor per usual.
However, The Cavs team is simply so much better than the Heat this year. Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland, Jarrett Allen, and Evan Mobley. I mean all four of those guys I’d take ahead of anyone on the Heat. Especially given Jimmy’s age. Both Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley are less than a rebound away from averaging double-doubles on the season. That’s basically two Bam Adebayo’s while Miami is stuck with one. Not to mention there is no one on the Miami Heat that can keep up with either starting guard on the Cavs. If you think that this backcourt duel is not a total mismatch then you simply don’t know what you’re talking about.
The Cavaliers are an incredible team that should not really even be compared to the Heat this season. In any sense. Bet on the Cavalier’s moneyline and get your extra $200 in bet credits.
