New York has had a rough start to their season. Through the first three games of the season they are winless, with a loss and two draws. While they take a lot of shots, they don’t score often, averaging .3 goals a game. Despite their issues on offense, the team is still alright. Their defense has been great, only letting up two goals so far compared to five from Columbus. While their defense is a bit shaky, I think their high-speed attack will be too much for New York. They already have a win under their belt, and NY still hasn’t shown they can close out a game. The pressure on the Red Bulls’ defense will be a lot, and even one goal might seal the win because of the Red Bull’s lack of offensive prowess. I like Columbus in this one.
